With Wood Tobe-Coburn’s Travel and Hospitality program, you can learn the professional skills you’ll need to succeed. Wood Tobe-Coburn offers both a 10-month diploma and a 16-month associate degree. HIGHLIGHTS

With Wood Tobe-Coburn’s Travel and Hospitality program, you can learn key skills in event planning, guest relations, resort management, worldwide destinations, and computerized reservation systems.

Our smaller class sizes make it easy for you to get one-on-one, personalized attention.

During the program, students spend time in an externship where they practice what they’ve learned and make valuable industry contacts. Many of our graduates are hired directly by their externship sites after graduation!

Employment in leisure and hospitality contributed 14.2 million jobs in June of 2013, according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics. The sector now accounts for about 10.5% of the U.S. workforce, also a record since the government started tracking the jobs in 1939.

As long as you stay enrolled full-time at Wood Tobe-Coburn, tuition rates will be frozen for you and will never go up from year to year.

Credit Transfer From Another School

Because programs at Wood Tobe-Coburn School are specially tailored to career preparation, course credits from other postsecondary schools, particularly those that emphasize general or liberal arts education, are generally not transferable. However, college graduates and transfer students may be given credit for courses completed at other approved colleges provided the courses are comparable to those required at Wood Tobe-Coburn School and provided the grades received for the courses were "C" or better. Transcripts of work completed may be submitted for review. Credit is not granted for advanced placement or experiential learning.

 

Credit Transfer to Another School

Because programs at Wood Tobe-Coburn School are designed specifically for career preparation, students must assume that credits for courses taken at Wood Tobe-Coburn School are not transferable to other institutions. The acceptance of credits is always at the discretion of the institution to which a student is attempting to transfer credits. There may be articulation agreements in place at the time the student enters that may not be in place when the student graduates or desires to attend a particular school. Neither Wood Tobe-Coburn School nor any of its employees can represent that another institution will accept any courses for credit. If a student is interested in attempting to transfer credits to another institution, Wood Tobe-Coburn School will supply the necessary documentation that may aid the student in receiving credits for the completed course work.
